Select Board · Meeting of March 19, 2026
Granby Select Board formalizes the 2-1 vote that fired its town administrator. The board voted unanimously Thursday to amend its Dec. 1, 2025 minutes, inserting language confirming that Selectman Mark Bale, seconded by Dave Labonte, moved to terminate then-Town Administrator Tammy Martin under the probationary clause of her contract; the vote carried 2-1, with Glenn Sexton opposed. The board also voted unanimously to authorize Town Counsel Brian O'Toole to sign a stipulation dismissing, without prejudice, Five Corners LLC's land court suit over a strip of land near the town's Dunkin' Donuts plaza, after the state's Division of Capital Asset Management determined the parcel was never held for county road purposes.
The town administrator told the board a tentative waste management deal would keep trash pickup intact "well within the numbers," with a formal proposal due in May.
