Granby Schools Lose December State Aid Payment Over Delayed Town Financial Report

GRANBY -- January 6, 2026, Granby schools lost their December Chapter 70 state aid payment after the district missed a filing deadline caused by a town-side data gap. Superintendent Todd Dorman told the School Committee at its January 6 meeting that he has been waiting months for financial information from the town to complete the required end-of-year report, and that DESE withheld the December allocation as a consequence.
