GRANBY — February 9, 2026 — Granby Planning Board unanimously approves long-delayed 72-lot subdivision on Carver Street. The board passed four separate motions Monday to advance Ming Estates, a three-phase residential development proposed by Dan's Construction of Ludlow on approximately 157 acres near the Belchertown town line, reviving a 2017 approval that had expired before construction began. A central condition requires a full performance bond before any work commences on each phase, with roughly 20 lots in Phase 1, a larger Phase 2 entering from Carver Street, and a connecting Phase 3. The board stripped homeowners association language from the original 46 conditions, ruling that roads and stormwater infrastructure remain the developer's responsibility until town meeting formally accepts each street. A 20-day appeal period begins once the written decision is finalized.
