Two Of 12 Granby Property Deeds Disclose Sale Price In July
Granby recorded 12 property deeds between July 10 and Aug. 8, but only two disclosed a sale price: $50,000 for a unit at 40 Granby Heights and $148,613 for 8 Smith Ave., for a median of $99,306. Both priced transactions listed a lending institution, not an individual, as the buyer. Four of the 12 filings transferred property to individual buyers without disclosing a price, while four others were non-sale filings, including two homestead declarations, a subordination agreement and an estate-tax affidavit. Carver Street was the only street with more than one recorded transfer. With price data limited to two of 12 filings, the period's market tone cannot be characterized as active or quiet based on the available figures.
