Granby records nine property transactions in four-week stretch, most sale prices undisclosed
Nine property-related transactions were recorded in Granby between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only two disclosed a sale price: $20,000 for 174 W State St and $60,000 for a Granby property listed without a street address, for a median of $40,000. Several other records involved lenders such as UMassFive College Federal Credit Union, Bank of America and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. as either buyer or seller, and three records, at 181 West State St, 37 Harris St and 95 Taylor St, were administrative filings (a lease notice, a homestead declaration and an order of conditions) rather than sales. With price data missing for seven of nine records, the period's overall market tone cannot be determined from this dataset.
