Granby Deed Filings Show Eight Transactions, No Sale Prices Disclosed
The Hampshire County Registry of Deeds recorded eight property transactions in Granby from July 31 to Aug. 29, none with a disclosed sale price, so no price range or median can be reported. Three deeds transferred parcels to the Town of Granby, including 3 Trout Lily Lane and 117 Pleasant St. A fourth acquisition, at 160 West State St., went to Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust Inc. Three others were Declarations of Homestead, which are not sales. The lone deed between a non-municipal seller and private buyer was 4 Carver St., transferred from Peoplesbank to Thomas and Katherine Obrien. With no price data available, market tone cannot be assessed from this period's deeds alone.
